Life is busy. For all of our best intentions sometimes a week, or two weeks can go by before realizing how long it's been since walking into a yoga studio.
That's ok. Life doesn't always afford us the time to get to a yoga studio to find time on the mat. The good news is, you can roll out your yoga mat where ever you are. I'm going to venture a guess that one of the places you find yourself most often is home :)
If you've never done yoga at home it can seem daunting - you ask, what poses should I do and what order should I do them in and what if I do them wrong and ...
Start with stillness.
Giving yourself permission to slow down, to stop and be still is a yoga practice unto itself.
Pick one pose, something that gives you permission to be still. My favorite is Viparita Karani, translated as Legs-up-the-Wall pose. It is exactly what it says. It's an amazing pose to rest and rejuvenate.
