Side-Angle is by far one of my favorite poses. It wakes up the body from foot to fingertips. It strengthens the feet, legs, core and neck. To get the most of this, and other poses, pay attention to what's happening in your torso. If your rib cage is collapsing into your leg, lift and lengthen to give your spine maximum space to benefit from the pose.
